We are back in the holding pattern for a live event this year with new LA COVID mandates concerning the Delta variant. DIFF’s Board of Directors will be making their decision soon. Questions: covid@davincifilm.org.

COVID UPDATE
Los Angeles County reinstates the indoor maks mandate (www).
We will be monitoring this closely with our vendors and venue partner and will keep you updated with any new information as it relates to DIFF’s 2021 Vitruvian Awards. As of the date of this post, we are still on schedule to host a live event in October.

COVID UPDATE
WE ARE HAVING A LIVE EVENT!!
The DaVinci International Film Festival and its Board of Directors have voted to host a live event this year in addition to a virtual option as well.
DIFF will be announcing its OCTOBER date (It looks like the 10th) and new venue partner for the festival’s 4th Annual Vitruvian Awards® in the upcoming weeks, so please stay connected.
We are thrilled to bring our film family back together for an incredible day of cinema and celebration!

COVID UPDATE
Protocols for Movie Theaters: Appendix X
Effective Date: 12:01 am on Thursday, May 06, 2021
Movie theaters may designate Fully-Vaccinated-Only sections but must verify fully vaccination status for each customer in that section … (PDF).
DIFF’s Board of Directors and Advisors will be making a decision whether or not to host a live event NLT June 30th, 2021.

COVID UPDATE
DaVinci International Film Festival’s venue partners for the 2021 Vitruvian Award Showcase in Los Angeles CA. remain in Tier 2 of reopening due to the pandemic. DEADLINE recently published an update (www) where select theaters are [now] permitted a Tier 3 and some Tier 4 reopening, which would allow up to 75% theater capacity with no social distancing mandate for vaccinated guests.
DIFF remains flexible with dates and hosting options for a live event this year; the organization has many variables to consider in addition to Tier venue capacity and we will keep you updated on this page.
