This all-new category aims to:
- Recognize and reward exceptional Bollywood filmmaking talent.
- Promote cultural exchange and understanding between India and the global film community.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Bollywood Spotlight category, films must meet the following criteria:
- Origin: Films must either be produced in India or contain a significant reference to Indian culture.
- Age: Films must have been completed within one (1) year of the submission deadline.
- Language: While not restricted to Hindi, films with Hindi dialogue must be accompanied by English subtitles.
- Format: Selected films must be delivered in DCP format for screening at the festival.
