The DaVinci International Film Festival is proud to unveil the official poster for our 8th Edition, anchored by our brand story: Architects of Cinema. In the world of filmmaking, the final image on the screen is a culmination of countless moving parts—a collective effort of craft, logic, and creative precision. This year’s theme honors the dedicated teams who serve as the structural backbone of every production, recognizing that a masterpiece is only as strong as the intricate components that comprise the whole.
The design leverages the mathematical elegance of the Golden Ratio, which serves as both a literal and symbolic anchor for this edition. The spiral not only dictates the visual flow of the composition but is cleverly oriented to form a stylized letter “D,” paying homage to our namesake, Leonardo da Vinci. This geometric precision reflects the underlying order of cinematic storytelling, where individual gears and technical disciplines must align perfectly to achieve aesthetic harmony.
While the festival historically favors a minimalist approach to poster design, this year we have embraced a more detailed aesthetic to celebrate the complexities of our industry. The transition from raw mechanics to the iconic silhouette of the Vitruvian figure represents the evolution of a film from technical blueprint to human experience.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Grove on September 25-26, 2026, as we gather to honor the architects behind the magic.
Come and Experience the DIFF. Join us in celebrating the Architects of Cinema.

This sketch by the Founder & Executive Director marks the humble beginning of our 8th Edition theme. Much like the legendary notebooks of Leonardo himself, this raw concept capture represents the precise moment where analog thought meets technical design. Before the gears were rendered in gold and the Golden Ratio was perfected, there was only a pencil, a piece of paper, and the first structural blueprints for the Architects of Cinema. It is a testament to the fact that even the most complex cinematic visions start with a single, inspired line.
