The official poster of the 5th edition Vitruvian Selections & Leo Awards, presented by DaVinci International Film Festival (DIFF), honors Creative Works from around the world in feature, short, documentary, animation, and screenwriting categories.
DIFF 2022 collaborates once again with the artist, Silvan Borer, for the 5th Edition official poster and theme; his previous work included the festival’s 3rd Annual Vitruvian Man artwork. This year, Mona Lisa returns for the first time since the inaugural, DIFF branded design in an artist, watercolor, rendition, honoring the Creative.
The high-impact, artistic, ‘beauty in the maelstrom” imagery:
- Because it speaks to the Creative both past and present
- Because there’s beauty and art to be found in the midst of chaos
- Because Mona Lisa is arguably Leonardo da Vinci’s most notable work of art
Silvan Borer is an award-winning freelance illustrator based in Zurich, Switzerland. His wide range of international clients includes renowned brands like nick knights showstudio, estée lauder and caran d’ache. He graduated from the University of Arts in Zurich. Silvan works on editorial and advertising illustrations as well as children’s books.
“I feel honored being to collaborate once again with DIFF for this years 5th edition. Having the creative freedom with this design, I tried to interpretate da Vinci’s Mona Lisa in a modern way without leaving the footsteps of the original. Such an exciting task.”
